According to the Oxford English Reference Dictionary, a mentor is “an experienced and trusted adviser.” This modern meaning originates in Homer’s epic Odyssey in which Mentor was the adviser of young Telemachus.
It is our intention that a system based on your selection of loudspeakers from the DALI MENTOR range will be your trusted companion for countless hours of listening pleasure for many years to come.
MENTOR 8
MENTOR 8 is the largest of the MENTOR Series. Like all of the MENTOR’s, it features low loss paper/woodfibre drivers and the MENTOR Hybrid Tweeter Module. The newly developed drivers ensure that the listener will experience the subtlest musical details, even at low listening levels.
MENTOR 6
The MENTOR 6 is the first floor standing speaker in the MENTOR Series. The driver configuration of MENTOR 6 is a 2½ way bass reflex speaker with 2 x 6.5" proprietary bass/midrange drivers and the newest generation of the proprietary DALI ribbon/soft dome hybrid tweeter module.
MENTOR 5
The MENTOR 5 is the second floor standing speaker in the MENTOR Series. MENTOR 5 is slightly smaller than MENTOR 6 and thereby suited for living rooms, where footprint size matters. Despite the compact size, MENTOR 5 is able to reproduce full bodied sound at high sound pressure levels.
MENTOR 2
Recommended for placement on a stable stand, the MENTOR 2 renders a stereo image on a par with the very best the market has to offer, for an unprecedented three-dimensional audio experience.
MENTOR 1
Essentially a MENTOR 5 with a single 5” bass/midrange driver, the modest dimensions of the high performance MENTOR 1 mini-monitor makes it ideal on its own in smaller rooms or combined with a subwoofer in larger spaces.
MENTOR VOKAL
Unlike so many center loudspeakers that sacrifice performance for compactness, DALI MENTOR VOKAL is designed to do full justice to the single most important area in surround listening, the center channel.
MENTOR LCR
MENTOR LCR (Left/Center/Right) is the ideal all-round speaker for stereo use or as front, rear and center speaker in an ultra-compact, high performance surround speaker system.
DALI WALL BRACKET
DALI MENTOR 1 is factory-fitted with threaded inserts for wall mouting. The two-piece wall bracket is supplied with every necessary hardware for easy, secure wall mounting. The bracket provides adequate space between wall and speaker for proper bass reflex venting.
MENTOR SUB
Despite its deceptive simplicity of purpose – to reproduce only the bottom two or three octaves, a subwoofer actually offers many challenges in installation and set-up, before it can achieve smooth in-room response and seamless integration with your main speakers.
